Getting started on Gundam?! FUCK YEAAAAHHHHHHHH

While I obviously think Macross is more lovable, Gundam on the other hand is far more fascinating and ridiculously more interesting. Over on WRL it’s going to be a big year of Gundam faggerjackery so the timing of your foray is very good! ^_^

Yeah, I may have false expectations for super robot shows. I hesitate to dive into the genre partly because I don’t want to be let down. But I don’t know, I can deal with the SF elements being superficial as long as there’s enough going on otherwise. I was a fantasy fan before I was an SF fan anyway.

The only thing I can do is blockquote because no truer words have been said. That music that plays when Nono does the Buster Beam Slice gets me every time.

LOL Don’t expect what made this interesting to be in the majority of Super Robot shows. The SF in those is decidedly superficial save for small pockets. I too recommend this show as a gateway into the genre against my better judgment because it will spoil viewers rotten.

As for the moments you shared, I can only do an OGT and agree profusely with my arms crossed. I typed this response using my ahoge.
