By the time you see this, dear reader, the three of us will be waiting in line to pick up our Otakon badges (albeit perhaps at different places in said line). Yay? And, hopefully, the presentation we’re meant to deliver on Friday should mostly be done by then. Hopefully.

Which is to say, welcome to another installment of our most self-sacrificing of team features! This episode was kind of boring, I think. But fear not — such things have never stopped us before. And, anyway, if the next episode preview is to be believed, great things await us just ahead. We need only reach them.

We heft the cross of Strike Witches — a cross so weighty with teenage undergarments that even Zac Bertschy hasn’t energy enough to lambaste it thoroughly — yet again. But this time, we’ll have the aid of the stalwart OGT, who, being a sound strategist, seeks refuge in numbers.

What to say about this one? Well, it’s about as short as last week’s, though I’m not sure how that happened. And it ventures into some strange territory. The brevity of this week’s Brocast is largely a result of my having done little besides work for the past week or two. I’m beginning to figure out that these things have no set length; they’re as long as they want to be (my absolute upper limit is half an hour, but we have yet to reach that milestone). The lesser of two evils is relegated to parenthesis today, as he mostly just agreed with me as I explained my ideal digital anime distribution service. And I don’t know if we could call it “ideal” in more practical terms, but I’d use it, anyway.
We’ll have to skip the Brocast again this week, as I’m presently applying my speed-research talents to the completion of my term papers. But of course we won’t allow you to spend this Sunday devoid of the comforts we provide.
Sometimes, while working on homework, I start talking to Otouto-kun. This is almost always A Bad Idea. But, occasionally, we end up having conversations which are…if not insightful, then at least entertaining. And this is, after all, what the Pontifus and Otouto-kun vs. series is about — isn’t it?
Below, my dialogue is indicated by the red ani (兄) kanji, and Otouto’s is indicated by the blue oto (弟). Yes, we’re experimenting with different ways of indicating who speaks when. We’ll see how this works out.
Why can’t I hate Gundam ZZ? Did Erich Hartmann really steal Hitler’s hat? The coveted answers to these and other questions are revealed in this Brocast, which very nearly didn’t happen due to technical problems. But we have prevailed, and now we stand poised to serve you once again.

Now with 9000% less ruinous sound canceling on the part of my terrible microphone! Savor these musings upon super sentai shows and yuri, as I’ll be out of town next weekend for a conference, and won’t have time to edit a Brocast beforehand. But I will, at least, try to come up with something to fill the Sunday void.
